quality review Jimmy. Saw my mates RB5 the other weekend and have to say it looks great. I'll be very tempted in a couple of months once Stu has had a chance to really test it.

I wouldn't recommend it as highly if it weren't for Stu - I don't think I'd have been able to get the car going as well as he has done. He's a superstar!

Fantastic review as usual Jimmy.
Hopefully with a new servo just purchased, the novak gtb 5.5 being removed from my zx5, shell painted same colours as my trf 501.. its going to be ready for weekend:cool:.
Lets hope the weather is good.

Great review thanks,
Couple of quick questions, you mention a lot about moving which hole in the shock tower/lower arms the shock is attached to, What effectdoes this have on handling/bump ride?
Also, when you said a shock cartridge came loose, is this the blue hex thing at the top of the damper?
Cheers,
Dave

Tower effect:
Front + rear // Moving the shock inwards gives more rear end grip, moving the shock out i belive makes the car more reactive and better for big jumps.
wishbone effect:
Rear // moving the wishbone out should make the car more stable, on the inside it should make the car better over bumps and corner somewhat faster.. although stability is reduced.
Front // more inward gives you better low speed steering, but harder to drive.. further outward gives less steering.. but more stable.

Sorry the shock cartridge cover came loose, not the actual cartridge. The cover is the black alloy cap at the bottom of the blue cartridge. It holes all the seals in place.

Excellent review Jimmy!;) What should we do without you?
Is it the same cartriges as in the LAW34 set for the zx-5?

Could be, unfortunately I've never seen the law34 kit so I can't comment. some other things about that kit might be present on the RB5 but again, no idea!
