Round 1 Winter Series Points
Best 5 from 6 Rounds to count
Racing started at 10.30 with a rain interuption for less than an hour during the whole days racing.
The days schedule was extended to 5 qualifying rounds and 2 finals.
The day started with a practice period of 20 minute to make any changes required the the days racing.
Qualifying ruounds one and 2 went off with out a hitch.
Rounds 3 delayed for an hour due ro rain which created a nice break for everyone to pop across to the butty van and grap some food and drink, and retire to inside the cabbins where much catching up was done and a few ideas were floated about.
The track conditions were damp but fantastic to race in, the grass was rolled over on it's side making driving very tricky but great fun at the same time.
Round 3,4 and 5 went on with no rain delays and the final position were posted.
Milan was racing well along with Scott Morgan, Steve Axe and local drivers Nathan oliver, Shaun, and especially 7 year old Joshua who put in some very good times.
Nathan Powney put in some fantastic results also with his 1/10 truck to be first in the truggy qualifying. Credit where credit is due.
Simon White had a dissappointing end to the day with his RB snapping a conrod for no apparent reason. Jamie Bowen's receiver caused him problems at the beginning of his final and Steve Axe had problems with his RB during the final.
The final were raced 7 minutes long due to the lack of marshalls.
This meant that drivers had loads of run time which i think during the last months weather conditions was very well recieved.
