Does anyone know where I can get some spares for these shocks? Some how I've managed to snap a shaft at the Damper End. So I need another set of front shafts and some more Damper ends.

Any help sourcing would be greatly appreciated, And even better if it's in the UK

All parts are available seperatly and can be ordered accordingly.
I've had the same thing happen to me. Just ordered some X or V(not sure which it was) parts from the shocks and a new set of shafts.
Can check on tamiyausa.com for the part numbers.
For sources in the UK i have no idea. But think RCmart.com has them aswell.
But i guess a local tamiya dealer could order them no problem.

Well, most may have to check with Hobby Co, and they are pants, but you could try Brock Models or Racing Factory in Finland.

Go to www.rcmart.com (http://www.rcmart.com) and look under 501x spares, theyre all there and they're cheap as chips :). Shippings not too bad, 7 to 10 days on average.

For the shafts you can't beat Rdvtg-Hobbies (http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Rdvtg-Hobbies) on Ebay.

Hello Chris,

I have done exactly the same thing!

I got new shock shafts from toy east uk on eBay

#54042

it took about two weeks to come through

the bit that was sheard off in the plastic shock part that goes to the wishbone I carefully drilled a small hole down the centre and used a tiny easy out.

Its happened to me a few times too. I just use the dremel to cut a small grove across the top then unscrew it. Ive done it for other people trackside too, saves a fortune in bottom ends.

Hey
I'm looking for some new dampers for my B44 .
I noticed they can be found for a good price.
So i just wanted to know your feedback on them, easy to rebuild or not?
Overall quality ? Any bad sides ? And if anyone can compare them to the Ae ones that would be great ?
Any help would be appreciated .
Thanks .

Cheers for all the replies,

I have managed to source the parts on ebay, was shocked to find RCMart put of stock in something at last.

Hopefully they don't take too long to come.
