wondering if anyone has come up with a titainium screw kit, or if durango are planning to release one?

I always replace the kit screws with stainless. I buy screws that are longer than needed, and cut them to a length that uses all the hole. Stronger and tighter than kit steel, and the hardly measurable increase in weight has never been an issue.

I think you'll find that stainless screws are not as strong as steel screws ;)

Nah but they dont rust and titanium snap and are a bugger/impossible to drill out of expensive parts:)

Thank you, Sir Northy! That is correct. When I use longer SS screws to replace the kit hardware, they get a better grip, I am able to tighten them much more, and they never seem to strip or loosen. Oh, and they're "shiny"! :thumbsup:

Maybe try emailing/phoning Lunsford and they might be able to put one together for you using the list on the Rc Screws website.

Been looking at a full fat Durango and the screws are stuck on the alloy areas, assume down to rust.
