Phil Sleigh has been in touch to let us know that he is leaving X-Factory for pastures new in 2010. 2009 has been an amazing year for the 2WD title contender - just losing out to Xfactory team-mate Ellis Stafford in the hunt for the championship.

"I'd just like to thank Chazz & Paul for the opportunity of racing for their team and to Ellis for his help & support during the past season, even though at times we both had our eyes on the same prize."

"It's been an awesome experience being a member of the UK team during 2009, with a real feeling of 'teamwork' at every meeting we've attended together."

"Whilst only being with the team for one season, it's been my most successful to date. Highlights being my first National win at the first 2WD round and finishing a very close 2nd in the overall 2WD Championship."

"I'd also like to thank Darren, Michelle and the team at DMS for all their efforts. You're doing a fantastic job at distributing and promoting the X-Factory brand in the UK."

"I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my other sponsors for 2009 (SMD, LRP, RudeBits, CustomBlitz, TrishBits) for all their help and support."

"My main sponsor move for next season will also see me leave SMD/LRP and I'd like to thank Jamie Booth for his assistance with all things LRP throughout 2009"

"Finally I'd just like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and all the best for 2010"

oOple would like to wish the best for Phil for the future and we'll have news on his new team soon!
