Well after many years wanting a team car ive bought this one,yes i know its a little rough but i will do my best to restore it.
It came rtr and for the price was not as bad as i thought.
Shell needs a clean and strip.
Its got a strip of lego for steering, but i do think its got team car shocks.
Let me know if you have any info on this model .
Thanks.

it looks like a team car with the chassis painted yellow.the front arms are rpm one i beleive.the steering setup is an aftermarket setup which once you have replaced the lego should be an improvement over the standard one.id check the chassis closely to see if it or the nose peice are bent as the nose tubes look badly deformed.if they are you can pick up second hand ones easy enough:thumbsup: enjoy

you will probably find the gearbox casing was dyed black or could be from a later model worlds car which i think where black(i could be wrong)

just had another look at the photos and noticed the front shock tower is from the earliest rc10 with the narrow front end.the car seems to have various different parts fitted from different versions of the rc10,but isnt far off a team car:thumbsup: another plus is it has cvd's as well which while not standard on any rc10's do help the handling

You "should" be able to get it off with paint stripper as the black chassis were anodised, which would not be affected by the paint stripper. No guarantees though...
The front arms look like the Andy's ones you could get way back when. The chassis has seen better days too, the right hand side looks a little bent and buckled and the front end if totally off, but nothing you shouldn't be able to bend back into shape...

I suspect its a legacy car - like my old one. Started life as the orginal gold pan six gear, got wide front wishbones (mine were RPM's), got the original wobbly servo saver uprated and finally got a stealth gearbox fitted. Along the way all the white parts got dyed black (though some of mine got their via pink - don't ask!). This one seems to have gained team shocks and CVD's too.
I've got bits for my similar aged RC10T for Liquid RC (http://www.liquidrc.com/).

You could try http://www.rc10talk.com lots of information for the RC 10 on there. It has a good BST and wanted area which you can access after around 25ish posts.
