Wrong section of the forum dude unless you fancy showing us some pics if your vintage cars?

Anyway, yes you can race them they should get you started again! The only problem is spares really.

Your best bet is to sell them off or keep them for old times sake?! Vintage cars have quite a following and you could raise some cash?

Get yourself down to your local club, visit www.brca.org and see what's popular

you can't go wrong with a B4 or X6 for 2wd, or a B44,Cat Sx, B Max etc for 4wd. There isn't any really bad cars to avoid but get yourself to a meeting and have a chat with some local racers.

Good option is to get used car - can be cheaper and you'll most likely get some useful option parts and spares with it.

Yes you can race them. But then you can light fags with tenners as well. The Yokomo you have is probably worth a packet now and ZXR's in decent condition will fetch you a tidy 80-100 quid. Even the Traxxas might be woth something to someone.

Consider also that nowadays the motors are way more powerful than they ever were back then and the wear and tear on the old cars would be way too high it would really pay to get a new car which is built to handle the new stuff.

A secondhand B4 would be great to start out again and is what I got after a 10 year break :)

I started out again after a break with a yokomo Mr4BC which was good to get back into racing, but soon found out parts were very hard to come by. It served me well until we went back outdoors and I could use the Truck. then finally bought a B44 months later.
