Jamie...

The List isnt released until around February, but as far as I am aware the Lipos on last years list will remain legal as there are no major changes and any new ones will be released with the list or by the manufacturers advertising during Jan/Feb

Last years list...

If you look on the BRCA website under Electric Board, you will find the answer you are looking for.

Interesting that LiFe cells are catered for, have heard rumours Reedy have submitted some for approval. Would be interesting to see if a 2S LiFe pack with an obscenely fast motor would be a good way to go in offroad!?

Hi Guys.
Closing date for lipo cell submission isn't until 31 Dec 09 so you are all way too early to be looking for a 2010 approved list. Trust me, batteries are still turning up!!!

From the BRCA point of view there have been a "goodly few" lipo cells turned up lately - many more than in previous years.

All cell documentation has to be checked and verified then all the measurements need to be taken (loads, including case impact tests) followed by photographs, description, test charging and then listing of those approved.

All in all I sence that there is a lot of work to get through so don't expect a list too soon - end of January may be an optomistic target.

Regards and Happy New Year.
