Every time I build the slipper assembly, the bearing on the spring side always seems to seize up? I've tried various washers to try and keep it free but it always just locks in place?

Does anybody have the same problem, or a method to prevent this happening?

Thank you in advance.

Julius.

Shouldn't there be a top hat washer on there that sits against the inner ring of the bearing? Do you have a photo of it so we can diagnose? if it's built properly then there must be a problem with the components? Maybe the tophat spacer got crushed and is now deformed?

Have you tried a different bearing in there?

Have a look on here, you can download the manual to make sure you have the correct parts etc:

Cheers guys.

Ohm, It's built as per instructions, I have a feeling it must be the bearing then, it does feel a little stiff; as if one of the balls is deformed.

I just didn't know whether it was just meant to be like that. The problem is, as you know, the bearing size is a little odd, and I can't test it with a different one.

Thanks for the help.
