Hi everyone,
like many of you already knows, the DEX410 ball ends have a bit too much of a play (slop), so I came up with this idea:
I use plumber's tape, like the picture shows, I already replaced all the TD ball ends and ball studs with other brands, but I used the tape on the servo ball ends and also as an experiment I drove the car for a couple of days with the stock ball ends with tape underneath, they worked really well. They are quite smooth ( not 100 % ) but definitely no play at all, and at least they lasted until today (since 3 days ago).
If you want to give it a try, hier is a picture.
Let me know what you think about it.
The tape is 0.10mm thick.

I dont understand this ball end issue!

the standard ball ends have normal slop, comparable to to other cars.

anyway, loose ball ends are better than tight ball ends.

and the tape will last less than 5 mins!

hi Fastinfastout, about the slop I think that the TD ball end as a bit more slop than rpm or losi once, you can read the same thing in a few forum.
the tape doesn t make them too tight it is smoother than it looks and it last longer than Markchristopher think.
I think first try before negative criticism.
anyway i am happy for you that you like the stock ball ends.
have a nice sunday:)
