Dont think Nick can get it at the moment (so he was saying on Thursday at the club). I get mine off ebay...

Ok, it's £20 inc postage, but 5L will last for ages if you decant the amount you need into an ice cream tub like i do (you can get loads of wheels in then and the seal is good so it does not evaporate).

I can get lots & lots of acetone in 5litre tubs for £10 & p&p I'll have to see what the p&p is going to be, and who will deliver it, but it won't be too much i wouldn't have thought.

e:mail me (info@the-pred.co.uk) if you want some.

Might be nitromethane rather than acetone. It's a solvent and therefore basically thins the glue. Similar to the old TrickBits 'Tyre Remoover', which was basically just a tin of Nitro and some gloves in a tub.

I've used Nitromethane to get cyano out of a carpet before... don't ask...

IIRC, Carl's stuff is one of these; propanone, dimethyl ketone, 2-propanone, propan-2-one or β-ketopropane, I can't remember which.

That is exactly what i use aswell. I just nip down to our local tesco and buy about two bottle very cheap, Then just put the tire in an old coffe tin, (because they are air tight and waterproof) then just add about a 1/7th of the bottle then add a couple of tyres on wheels. Leave a couple of hours then wash and pull the tyres off. Easy ass that.:D

not sure what's exactly in mine as its made and sold as propper super glue remover/disolver/ as dom said some kind of dimethol keytone so im told, its safer and better to use and last for ever,
buy the way u now need a licence to buy and sell acetone in bulk ,thats why nick's struggling to but it in bulk, because some PEOPLE use it to make bombs,

I think the reason why nick cant get it is because his dad cant get it from work any more as his company have stopped using it.
