mad rat tyres

I am wondering why my schumacher tyres don't fit well onto my mad rat rims.
Do I need to trim the bead down on the tyres or are there some other wheels I could buy that fit onto the hex?

Front or rear tyres ?
Kyosho wheels fit.

i'm with Bert. never had an issue. in fact i've found the ansmann wheels quite good.

I've taken the schumacher tyres off and compared them to the originals.
It seems the rubber bead inside the tyre rim is about 2mm thicker than the ansmann ones.
(front and rear)

So which wheels will fit and where's the cheapest place to buy them?

(I think rb5 wheels will but any others?)

I took the rat out for its first run today..... awesome!!

Just with a cheap orion votex bl setup and 7.4v lipos, such fun!!

Smashed the wing to bits.... is there a stronger one available for reasonable money?

Oh and threaded the hole where the clutch dust cover bolt fits.

Ok, the cheapest rims are the stocks ones, buy it at rc pro center shop, sooo cheap !
The wing and body shell, no matter what brand, all fits (B4, RB5, Losi) so, just choose one you want. Try the Jconcept ones, or the Azarashi, or the stock... no matter.

The Mad Rat is a nice car so far, so go on and get fun :)

Any of the 1:10th sets here should fit, I have several of the fastrax sets and they are excellent. This set CLICK ME (http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=33228) are very good for indoor off-roading...I'm using them now...

Have you noticed the fastrax stub tyres are the same price whether mounted on rims or not!!
