I really love the way the 201 handles. Also love the Tamiya Zahhak body: more realistic and aggressive than the stock body.
Have not tested the 511 yet, but can't wait for the new outdoor season.
For fun I also attached pics of my classic Tamiya's: THE (restored) Sand Scorcher and Wild One (still in great condition)

I absolutely love the paint scheme :woot: They are different from 'the usual stuff,' and make the cars look more like full scale ones. They also kind of remind me of the paint scheme(s) Ford has used on their Focus WRCs in... 2010? Anyway, it looks amazing, did you do the paintjob yourself?

X Gear Springs: Got mine from Champ RC....they are NOT cheap though, but are really good. I'm still figuring setups but feel free to pm me abot which I'm usin currently!

Hi, i got the shell from America. Omnimodels on ebay. Does'nt come with an undertray. It's a B44.1 shell but fits nice.

If it doesn't, then I cannot see many people buying them.

Bought back my old 511 from a local racer who had done a couple of meetings with it so still pretty much as I sold it :)

As 2wd is my main class thought I would go retro with a 511 as my 4wd

I have put on 12mm hex conversion using Hobao h2 Ali hex's, Core big bore spring adaptors and Yokomo Yataba carpet springs and a losi 22 servo horn and the rest is pretty much stock 511

Thanks to AK Custom paint for the awesome paint job :thumbsup:

Any tips for this 503 car on high grip carpet guys? Just made a few changes from last weeks terrible showing where i really suffered massive grip roll.

Front, yellow roll bar/600wt oil/Yatabe purple springs, links and shock positions as per kit. 2mm droop limiter.

Rear, blue roll bar/450wt oil/Yatabe orange springs, links and shock positions as per kit. 2mm droop limiter.

Running a carbon chassis and 2.5mm top decks, 6.5 Fleta motor, 4wd yellow staggers, venom rears.

Car felt fast and smooth, but cornering, albeit softer than the above change, was awful, so much grip.

Opinions for a noob 4wd TRF runner? Maybe i go out on the above, and ponder laying the shocks down?
