Hello everyone,
I just got a used DEX410 and i decided to rebuild it. After rebuilding the diff and checking everything. I put a LRP sxx speed control and x12 motor, THE problem is that my buggy goes only revers!!!!! I have noticed that the motor is placed differently then US cars do, does that mean i need a new Speed controller? or did i rebuild wrong? I have checked the motor wiring, ESQ setting, and controler setting all look good. Can any one help please?

Thank you

Alex

If it was running OK before the rebuild, and you didn't alter your tx settings:
Check that both your diffs are installed with the heads of the screws pointing down.

The heads on my front ones point up, the rear ones, down?!?!

I had that too......I would say you have put your front screws in the housing up side down, not that i can see that making any difference other than it made me put the diff in the wrong way around:woot:

And your ring gear is to the left of the front diff? Your rear diff has the ring gear to the right?
The screws only thread into the top housing, and will "push" through the bottom housing. I'd double-check to make sure it's secured properly. Could be the only thing holding your front diff housings together is the bulkhead (gear plate), and cover. (That is, if the ring gear is to the left, and screw heads are on top.)

Here's how the diffs should look once installed.
