Looks like we're fully booked (for 2 & 4wd at least).

For those that have pre-booked, but know now that they won't be able to make it, please can you withdraw using the form here (http://www.stotfoldmcc.co.uk/booking.php#entry) to allow others the opportunity to race.

Thanks.

Can only see 21 entrants in 2wd and 31 in 4wd that have pre-booked in on the website.

Whats the maximum number you allow per class?

Thanks

Look again - it's 21 and 39 for 2 and 4wd respectively.

We allow a total of 60 entrants to be shared between 2 and 4wd (with a further 10 spaces available for trucks).

As Andy said we are currently full, so if you know you will not be able to attend please let us know. I think we will have to look at the numbers for this round.

There are 1 or 2 people on there who have booked in for every round so far and not turned up once!!!! Maybe take them out to allow people who will turn up to race ???

Just checked the Met Office and it's saying heavy snow is due on Saturday night in the letchworth area, lets hope it does not effect sunday's meeting.

Something we will definately implement in nexts years rules Mr Spencer. Hopefully they will have the courtesy to cancel their entry if they are not turning up. I will recomend if people fail to turn up for 2/3meetings without letting us know, then we will remove their entry from the remaining meetings.

For round 4 we have had several enquiries from people who did not get booked in before we hit our limit of 60 vehicles across 2 and 4wd.

As a good will gesture we have decided to allow an additional heat, but this will be 4wd only (as they represent most of the additional attendees).

2wd will remain capped at its current level of 20 entrants. Depending on no shows, it may be possible for late entries to race in this class.

Thanks for reading. :)

Sweet, just booked in 4wd and my name is on the entrants list:thumbsup:
Oh and I already booked for round 5;)

I have temporarily disabled the check boxes for Round 4 so that they can't be used even when spaces become available.

This is so we can do our best to manage the 'reserves' fairly.

Needs to be pointed out, the last round in March has only a few spaces left also..... So book early to avoid missing out!!!

Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dunc

I've amended the entry list on the SMCC website to show reserves, where possible, in the correct class.

The reserve list is as follows:

2wd
1. Tony Evdoka
2. Grant Williams
3. Kev Lee
4. Ian Southwell
5. James Hockley

4wd
1. Ross Williams
2. Tristram Neil

All of the above have been provisionally entered for 4wd. Note that Ross Williams and James Hockley are not on the database so I cannot add them, but do have a place.

Assuming all of the 2wd entrants turn up, this means we currently have 4 spaces remaining in the extra heat (Kev, just to confuse matters further, is doing 4wd anyway and is not a reserve for that class).

On the day, if there are no shows in 2wd people can switch over in the order noted above (up to a maximum of 20 entrants).

Dunc

Looks like we've had a withdrawal in 4wd, so I've allocated the space to the next 4wd 'reserve': Simon Overall.

Just a reminder: all the 'reserves' listed above will get to race, but in 4wd only as things currently stand.

snow has been forcast on and off for days now, but all we have had is a light dusting Friday morning on the cars when there was none forcast.

the forcasters have got it wrong so many times I'm expecting a warm and sunny day tomorrow like it was today.

Even with a bit of snow it wont stop me from turning up to get beaten by some of the best.

There was a fair old bit of snow falling when we first got there, but that soon stopped, and apart from a brief light rain shower in round 3, it was ok for the rest of the day, the sun even came out a few times.

Lee Martin won 4wd, his 511 looked bloody nice, I think Ellis did 2wd, might be wrong on that bit though.

Good day though:thumbsup:

Yea was a good day all be it a touch wet

You are right Lee Martin won 4wd, both myself and Kev lee tried to keep him honest but he had the edge no doubt about that

2wd i TQed and Ellis won with myself 2nd. Again Ellis had the edge and managed to not crash in the final :(

Was a good day as we ended it in the sun!!

After contemplating turning around due to the 3 inches of snow on the ground when I left home, I had a good days racing. The surface was very slippery and tricky to race on.

It was good to see two Cougar SV's racing and undergoing set up changes throughout the day.

Many thanks to Stotfold for organising a good event.
