I have the latest pro-trak charger and i charge my team orion carbon edition 3200 Lipo's on it.
The charger works faultlessly with the lipo's and is easy to use. I charge my Lipo's at 3.5 amps to 8.0 volts and race 'em. Let them cool down for 5 or 10 minutes and re-peak them and go again. It takes around 20 minutes to repeak the pack.
The batteries are always very punchy and running in my B4 with an LRP sphere 2 star and 3 star motor is always constantly very quick and the cells do not come close to dumping.
The only addition to the package i have bought is a trak-power inline balancer, (the pro-trak monitors the charge, but does not balance it) and with this addition, for an extra £30, means the cells should never go out of balance, and as long as there are no faults with the cells, they should last for a couple of years!
As for setting up the pro-trak, all I do is select the li-po charge function from the main menu, listen to the pink panther theme tune that the charger plays, and then charge the cells up. The ONLY alteration i make is to adjust the charge amps to 3.5 amps. The pro-trak checks your battery pack for you, identifies that it has two cells, and then charges the pack.
You will notice that when your cells are reaching the end of the charge, that the charge rate drops right down to about 1.5amps or even .5amps and then rises up to about 2.0 - 2.5 amps before peaking off.
The balancer seems to stop this from happening, but having only used my balancer once or twice, i cannot be sure.
If you need any more technical information, i recommend you ring or e-mail phill at pro-trak. He has always been very helpful when i have psoken to him, and he is the very fountain of knowledge about the chargers that you would hope him to be.

yup, that's where i got my information from, and the advice for the setup noted in my first post - although rob runs trakpower batteries instead of the Team Orion ones.
