I've got something special coming that I've just ordered, hopefully I'll get it in time for my first race of the season on the 28th.
Wait and see, though this will be my picture log.
:woot: Sounds intersting.... Where do you race Marv?

Prolly one of the most anti-climactic threads ever so far
(internet didn't use to be like this when people didn't have post counts next to their names...)

What do I need to increase my post count for? There isn't some reward system in place.
I was hoping to get some friendly guessing in, as a discussion thread, before I post the results, but apparantly this place is for deadly serious topics only.

A ve8 with shiney ally chassis?
Marvin

That's more like it!
There will be a Ve8 aluminium chassis conversion coming out from RC-Monster at some point, that also allows easy use of their slipperential. That's not it though. I would like a look at that when it's released, to go on my Ve8.
I've had an 808 already, and fancied something a bit different this time around - they are too good (and therefore boring), so it's not that.
Closer with your last guess Battle_axe.
Unfortunately it's not a wind up car powered by cockwork, but that would be pretty cool. Just hope there are no sharp edges!

Erm, definately not.
Actually, the Earth is spherical...
It's not that different!
And, no, I'm not converting an Ansmann Vapor...

No, not quite, it's actually an oblate spheroid i.e. it's kind of compressed from north and south, and bulges at the equator, due to the rotation of the earth.

If it's a Tamiya buggy can you do one for me??
Had no luck finding any for them, and Tekno seem to have shelved their plan for one too..
