I have a KO 2123, very fast and powerful. I'd recommend a 2743 (or whatever it is, xx43) though, still very fast but easier to use as it doesnt have a 7.2volt lead like the 2123 does.

I use a Futaba S9451. Definitely my favorite servo out there right now to use on anything outside of steering an 1/8. Problem is, it's a little bit big... just like all the other servos out there trying to fit into a car that doesn't leave a lot of space for the electronics. If I had to buy a servo that was perfect for the car (along with any other touring car for that matter) I'd get a Futaba S9550 low profile servo. It's about half the size of a standard sized servo. That'll leave you a lot more space to use for your receiver and speed control. Also, KO just released their new low profile servo with the same size specs as the Futaba and its faster and stronger. Check it out on rcca's website.

Thunter tiger make servos ? do they use normal connectors and the like?

I have to say that new low profile KO looks great, wouldnt suit all cars but would be good in a zx5.
