Firslt is this for your B4, you know it will be a HUGE step forward in performance from what you had last time I saw you? You also know almost everyone normally only runs 6.5's in 2wd? But each to their own.
Also for your budget you are maybe going to have to look at the initial models and the older motor types that were star ones from LRP or the bonded ones from Novak
Novak systems, especially ones with the older bonded motors go really cheap on ebay, defo worth a watch on there!

If the price on this stays low, this would be a really good system for your car and be nice on cells!

I agree with dan If i remeber correctly you are new to the sport so the last thing you want to be doing is bolting a silly fast motor in your car. I am relatively new to off orad to. I have been racing offroad a year and a half now and im only just starting to use quicker motors (I ran a 19t motor for all of 2006 and the first half of 2007 and still use it alot). So as you have only been racing a short while it will proberly better if you get a slow modified motor such as a 14 or 15 or stick with a 19t motor. As stu wood says slow is fast. If you are still learning drive the car properly then it is better to stick with a slower motor and learn the lines than to have so much speed you cant manage it.

i saw them too but dont want to get one incase its a german pile of w@nk. they could be good, and i trnslated the info onto google translator. i might go for a 7.5 motor anyways, but atm i cant afford to stay with modified motors as i cant keep up with replacements, springs, brushes, lubricants etc.
so a 7.5 is about 15t? coz i will be able to handle that. just need another set of cells and a charger.

What modified motors have you got!!!! Why dont you spend the money and buy a checkpoint 15t it will last you 5 - 6 months with out any mainternance and you will be able to control it.
But if you want to go brushless its up to you.

don't think you'll find the above on the BRCA EB list
If your planning to race @ BRCA sanctioned events the motor will be illegal:( but OK @ your club

Don't worry, you've bought a nice system, it should be pretty quick but not mental. What people are saying is you've not bought a bargain at that price.
Whoever is selling that writes a great advert, if you dont like it and don't make A finals perhaps he'll give you your money back ? ;)
lol thanks dan, you lifted a big doubt off of me, everything i do seems to go wrong so spending £105 on that and then someone saying its too much for that system really made me think twice about it. so thanks mate.
will hope to see you at the next spenny meeting when the track decides to dry its self up. or if i can make it osmetime to a bury meeting if me and my dad come in his camper.
thanks again to dave for pointing that out for me! and dan for releiving the doubt :D

dave
follow up:
well i got it all programmed and fitted i, had to re lengthen the iwres but that was pretty easy, it runs really well with not faults. its really quick but not too quick for me. cant wait till the next speeny race as i can test it out on the track. thanks for asking anyway dave. and thanks again for spotting it.
cheers.
