hi
just installing spektrum pro with a futaba 3vcs, its an upgrade from standard spektrum. i used ppm setting on old unit but not sure as instructions are not very specific whether to use ppm or hrs (high response setting)
anyone else use pro and 3vcs?

cheers

Is it the HRS Pro module? Think its SPM1015hrs and receiver is SRS3000hrs

If yes HRS

If no PPM

Ooh by the way if you have any analogue servos the HRS Spektrum will fry em in a matter of weeks.

its the position your sticks are in when you bind the radio to the car.

this is the 'position' that your car goes into when the car is on and the radio is off

In your case Chris you could set the failsafe to full throttle, that way if the radio ever loses signal you wouldn't notice :p

I pretty sure the 1015 works in the 3VCS as well, I'm sure that's what Jimmy Davies runs in his... I will have to dealve deeper.

what I do is to bind the reciever and radio together, setup the speedo (if needed) and steering trims and everything then.....

.... re-bind them together again, this will set the failsafe 'correctly'

if you don't do it the second time, the position the sticks were in before you set the speedo and steering might not be correct neutrel.

hope that makes sense :o

Just to inform you Chris, I have had it confirmed that the SPM 1015 HRS module does in deed work in the 3VCS.

I will let you know in about a week or so if my information is correct as mine is on order ;)
