I'm going to race my Lazer for the first time this weekend I've got a couple of questions. I have the Novak GTB Speedcontrol, which brushless motor and gearing would be best for a 150x66 track i have the Novak 6.5 and Orian 5.5.

How long is the straight-away? 100 feet ish or more i would sugest the 5.5. Any thing shorter go with the 6.5.

Also how experienced you are with the car and how well u can handle it could affect your motor choice.

If the track is tight start off with your slower motor, however if the track is more open and generally faster try starting off with a faster motor!

The track is really big they mainly run nitro on it, huge jumps. I'll probable go with the 6.5 until I get used to the track then switch to the 5.5 to keep up with the nitros. Thanks for the replys.;)
