In Chester it's legal to shoot Welshmen.
As long as its after dark on the night before market day, and you must do in with an arrow.
Are there any such laws in Oswestry?

That's true aswell!!! :o Some old bylaw that hasn't been updated.
Had to be careful on a night out there if within the city walls. :wtf:
Ah yeah, within the walls - I forgot that bit.
Even though I'm only a partial Welshman I fell it importand to keep in mind the laws of these borderland places.
I'm sure there is something about what you are allowed to do with the livestock of a Welshman if it strays accross the border.

actually if you check the law properly, you'll find you have to be a Cestrian (born within the city walls) and practice with your longbow for at least an hour a day, otherwise you're not allowed to shoot the welsh...
might be able to blag those bits though! :D

Raining here in Oswestry as I type :( .
PS - Recommend an evening in The Boars Head those of you staying over for the National meet. Assuming you're not of a delicate nature that is..

Apparently June was the worst June since they started marking records of weather. lets hope july/august is the best ever.. better had be!
Yet on the island I've just got back from (Coll), they only had 4.5mm of rain during June...!
Naturally, as soon as we got there, the clouds rolled in!
