It's a proto design by Martin Achter, and use by Lars Holland.
A friend of mine has made a moulded carbon tub for it :woot:

I'm still trying to work out what the advantages would be aside from a bit of weight loss, as the durango is a car that actually thrives on being heavy. Isn't it just creating more weak points?
You're right there! A carbon tub is just for bling, nothing else! :D

Carbon is flexible enough to bend during a crash and then bend back and not stay bent like the original chassis.

Well, Kjetil claimed it would have more flex and work better:D
At the Cactus Classics both a carbonchassis and plastic sideguards were used:thumbsup:
