Eden Park Raceway is looking to sell their old AMB8800 (non-PT compatible) set-up.
We had been using it for a couple of seasons, but due to some missed laps (the transponders required new batteries), we elected to save up and invest in an AMBrc set-up. We have checked the hardware as much as possible and are 99% sure that the issue was with the transponder batteries, so apart from this it all works well. We want to make it clear that we are not selling a perfect package although we have coped by making manual amendments when necessary.
The package we have sale includes the decoder, which comprises of three boxes and a 12V power supply (not included) that's required to power it. There is no computer/laptop, 12V power supply, loop or software included - the latter is available for free by searching the internet. All the cables are included to connect the AMB components together, but be aware that the timing system connects to a computer/laptop using a serial port. We have 20 analogue (black/NiCd battery) transponders and a charging rack. There is a second set of 19 analogue (black/NiCd battery) transponders and an older charging rack, but most of these have dead batteries.
Please ask if you have any questions.
