A few years ago i did some work in abu dhabi, each day this little boy would clean your room and bring you more water bottles etc, on the 2nd to last day of my trip i gave him the equivelant of £10 as a tip, when i got back from work his mother and father were waiting for me with him, his mum was kissing me and hugging me and insisted she made me dinner that night, it turns out i gave the boy the equivelant of what his dad would earn in a month.

It felt really good but really bad at the same time as £10 is nothing to us really.

Ill have to decline on that offer jimmy:D

It was really odd because out there you get both ends of the spectrum. You get the philipino`s (sp) on about 50p a day but you get us brits out there on £50 an hour (more nowadays). Bit crap really but we still all take the paycheque each week and the overtime. Its like anything, you live to your means.
