Heard yesterday that there are 7 or 8 entries confirmed for the 4wd nationals on Saturday in Lucan.

Best of luck to everyone!

I'm looking forward to hopefully finishing a 4wd final without damaging the car! :) Seems to be a difficult thinkg to do of late..... maybe I need a Losi 4wd!

Looking a bit "damp" for tomorrow up until about 3pm........

Although, it is Lucan, could be anything from hail to heat wave!

Oops - completely missed this one. And to think I could have been racing instead of watching rain fall on a touring car track in Ballymoney...

Still, the 2wd is still left...

To have all 8 A-Finalist qualify withing the same 15 seconds or so is really great! Really pleased with 2nd, and with car now that it is actually 4wd and has proper shocks on it :)

2WD Nationals are on this Sunday in Lucan.
Best of luck to all competitors - hopefully it will be dry weather.

Weather dependent, I'd say Mick and Dave will be out. I'll be at home preping the car - may go out and cut some grass if dry

It was a good day indeed, even though the wheels did, literally, come off on occasion...

Pictures to follow from the last A final - not tonight though, still recovering...

Shucks, 15th? Why not 14th equal...? :(

Enjoyed the day i have to say , even if i did spend most of it napping to try and sleep off the night before.
Happy with my finishing position considering.
Well done to Mick for a fine display during the 2 legs to take the top spot.

The racing was good fun, I just wish it wasn't such a long spin down on crap roads :(

Made it back home in a bit under an hour and a half though which wasn't bad going for the little fiat!

Quiet a useful photo for me. The car seemed to tons of grip to a point and then just snapped at the rear. You can see the positive camber on the rear wheel is too much - should have used a shorter link.

Turns out it wasnt the diff that was causing me problems - but double outdrive bearing failure!!!! freak failure! The balls from the damaged bearings got into the gearbox - it's not pretty!

Nasty!

I've always found it quite beneficial to be able to see your car driven around the track by either another person or a good video so you can see what the car is doing mid corner!
