I have a new Trinity Kinwald transmission brace part no: TK3005, it says on the card to fit a B2. I bought this to fit to my B3, I checked the Associated part number that it replaces: 9380, its the same for the b2 and B3. It wont fit!!! it doesnt quite line up properly. I'm really confused. Anyone shed any light on this? Cheers, Mark.

Any pics? It should fit as all parts fit the B2 from a B3 and vice versa. Its possible that it wasnt machined correctly.

I will take a pic. I am starting to think the part hasnt been made correctly. I have e-mailed Trinity, no response yet, I doubt I will get any joy from them though, I think this part must be 15 years old!

Cheers, Mark.

have one on 1 of my b3's, the part should be identical to b2 one, the plastic parts are identical too. very few real differences between the two cars and most parts are interchangeable without changing other parts, apart from the steering arms and c hubs

Here is a pic:

It is hard to see, but the holes for mounting it to the top of the gearbox are slightly over to the right compared to the plastic one off the car. Looks like I got a dud. I will wait to see what Trinity say.

Dodgydiy, could I send it to you yo compare with the one you have?

Cheers, mark.

measured the one i have and it lines up perfectly with the holes on the plastic associated one. it seems likely that you have a slightly dodgy one there. if it isnt too far out you could possibly modify to make it fit by filling the holes in the plastic of the chassis and shock tower and re drilling in the appropriate position. i am sure mine is from the days when the b2 was the car to have so it is possible that their machining may have deviated slightly with time and use since then.
