I will be racing at DMS for the first time at the 2WD MID South regional later this month.

What Motor/gearing are the B4/X6 guys running there and what tyres/inserts?

Thanks.

The track will be 85% carpet with 15% slippery floor, a nice long straight 25m+ and plenty of off road (indoor) action too.

6.5 or 7.5 will be good, depending on the brand of motor, on an X6 with a Trinity Nemesis I run 22/77 which is perfect for the size track.

Tyres will be Schumacher Yellow Minipins, with a medium to firm insert........

Yes mate, the balcony is off limits now due to the "safety railings" they added a few years back.....

Club night for buggies this coming thursday for anyone who wishes to come and do some last minute testing.......

Hi Darren, i will be there tomorrow.

What time should i get to the track?
I am coming from Southampton.

Also, what set-up changes can anyone recommend (B4) compared to PDA - i have never raced on carpet/slippery floor

Thursday - doors open at 8pm

Sunday - Doors open at 8am

As far as set up goes, somthing like one of the "Petit" race setups would not be too far away...... Generally your car will be a LOT stiffer than for the PDA

Darren, can you take me out of the meeting this Sunday, i've tried using the DMS Results site but it says I need to use the confirmation email for the entry. I entered ages ago for all of them and that email has long since been deleted.

Regards
Alec
