Hi,

I'm looking for a new servo and esc for my TRF501x. I have a Futaba R603FS receiver and 3PM transmitter. I have two questions:

1. I would like to know if it is possible to use an LRP sphere together with the receiver in HRS mode. The manual of the receiver just says you need digital servo's but it does not talk about esc's. Would it damage the sphere if I tried it?

2. If this will work with the sphere what do you guys think of the futaba 280T digital servo for use in the 501x?

Thanks for any help.
Stefan.

I run a 3VCS in HRS mode (with Futaba's 2.4GHz module and receiver) and have had no issues with my Sphere speed controller.

You should be fine.

Running HRS doesn't affect speedo at all, just the servo (must be digital I think)

servo must be digital, and if u swop between hrs - ppm after changing the setting over dont forget to switch the tranny off and on again, it seems to be a common mistake and yes i did it and lost a nights racing :(
