So I see that the new SX2 is coming out soon (if not already available). However it looks to be out of my price range, so am looking at the SX model. Is this still going to be a competitive buggy at club level, or is it a case of times/technology has advanced, and teh new SX2 is looking to be far superior. Another question is, will there still be good parts support for the SX, or is it slowly going to dry up?

the original sx is more expensive than the sx2...sx2 replaces some of the original aluminum bits with plastic ones and adds the big bore shocks...they are the same car withe the exception of the parts mentioned so parts for the sx should be easy to come by

More expensive? I found this one here for $299 USD, and from most sites I look at the SX2 is more around $500 or so.

Actually is the SX S1 that is listed $299 a less specced version perhaps?

I wish more manufacturers would offer a s1 like schumacher as an alternative to carbon fibre. Carbon is overated, as there seems to be a trend these days to introduce more flex in the chassis anyway.

bring on cheap and flexy anyday!:woot:
