It's definitely a Bosscat, but I have no idea what type of chassis that is. It's not something Schumacher sold - it's got some weird finish on it.

it looks more like a pro cat to me as the belt runs under the chassis and it has the ful inside wheel protecters.

Im not sure if that is a bosscat in the pictures.
It has the procat aero hubs which I dont think the bosscat used.
Also the top deck looks more procat than bosscat to me.
It could be some sort of hybrid as many of the parts were interchangeable.
The easiest way to tell is that the bosscat plastic front gearbox covers the belt over the diff where as on the procat the belt is exposed and the top deck extends further.

defo a pro cat the belt ran under the chassis for sure on the boss cat it ran above chassis the boss cat also had anodised gear box sides the chassis is the same shape as the pro it looks like its been died or somthing as the pro was white fibre glass.

It may have started life as a Cat XLS, as i can't see the front transmission adjustment screws for long belt tension.
Also has,
Procat rear suspension
Bosscat front upper wishbones and rear shock mount
Cat XLS rear suspension bracket
Hope this helps

thanks so far,
I am going to buy more procats and bosscats, should I just use this one for spares or is it worth trying to work out which car it was and try to restore it.

Definately not a Bosscat. While it has a few Bosscat parts bolted on to this car it looks to be a Procat. The way to confirm this regardless of the mods made will be the adjustment screws at the front gearbox. There will be 2 screws that run through a plate and tighten against the front mounting posts just behind the bumper.
