Found a pile of old Radio Race Car

I was digging around at my parents house where all of my old gear is stored and found a pile of Radio Race Car magazines dating from Dec. 1985 to mid 1988 (nearly ever issue).

Some very interesting reading. Some good reviews of old nostalgic cars. I might dig out my scanner and get some pics up online if anyone is interested.

If there is a particular car review you are interested in, let me know and I'll see if it's there.

Something with a Lazer ZX-R or Optima Mid Review, since i had both those cars, although I am not sure if those kits were around then!

There are reviews of the original CAT and Optima Mid (and original chain Optima, the reason I bought mine).

I'll get them scanned or photographed and post them next week when I'm home alone.

The Lazer must have been later, there's no mention of it.

It was spread over 2 months worth of magazine!! They were photographed not scanned so there is some lens distortion. Also, the board resizes them so you can only just read them. If you want them higher res. let me know.

Hi Mark, glad you found a forum where you can get some info on the old schumacher you were talking about. Not sure the RRCi back issues departement would appreciate you breaching copyright by scanning and publishing images from the mag though :eh?:
Those were "the good old days", B&W negative film and scanners, yuk !

If you want a copy of that old RRCi mag I'm sure we can dig a copy out for you, just let me know, OK?
