I bought a CAT SX CF kit and upgraded it with almost every conceivable option. Built to a very high standard using Hudy tools. As such, it is specced as follows:
U2248 - 83T SX2 Spur
U2096 - Aeriel Mount; Purple Chrome
U3393 - Springs; Black; Off Road XF4.5
U3399 - Springs; Black; Off Road XR4.0
U3404 - Alloy Yoke; 7.5deg
U3404 - Pinion; Hard Alloy 48dp - 22T
U3555 - Alloy Mount; Rr Upper for Rr Shock Conv
U3480 - CF Chassis; LiPo STIFF
U3592 - SX2 CF Top Deck
U3593 - SX2 CF LiPo Strap
U3611 - Alloy Spring Seats x 4
U3529 - CF Rear Shock Conversion
U3598 - CAT SX2 Wishbones; Rear
U3597 - CAT SX2 Wishbones; Front
U2135 - M4 Nyloc Wheel Nuts - Purple Alloy
U2187 - M3 Nyloc Nuts throughout - Purple Alloy
U3380 – Roll Bar Set; Rear
I have probably missed some options out but have done my best.
The RRP of the kit is £300 and, including the options (all purchased form Schumacher direct) has cost nearly £600 to build. Receipts can be provided to the buyer is they wish.
I don't know how well second hand RC cars hold their value, as I've never sold one. I was going to keep this as an Ultimate SX shelf queen but need to raise some money unfortunately.
Car was run once only to test on concrete and grass and as such the tyres could do with replacing to make it perfect again. It's in SUCH new condition, that I could have just replaced the tyres, polished it and almost sold it as new and unused, but I want to be honest about running it that once.
Open to offers, and can e-mail photographs to anybody who's serious about buying.
I also bought top spec electronics, which will also be available for sale, either with or without the car - negotiable. They are as follows, with RRP in brackets):
Novak Havok Pro Brushless ESC +
Novak Ballistic 6.5 Brushless Motor (£180)
CODE 2.4Ghz Radio (£80)
Futaba S3305 metal-geared Servo (£35)
LRP 5300 40C LiPo (£80)
LRP Quadra Pro 2 LiPo Charger (£100)
So electronics total of £475.
Similarly, the electronics have only been used once and as such are as new. Not even run in.
I haven't totalled the exact cost of the SX parts but the RRP total for the SX and the electronics together is at least £1000.
This, therefore, is a brilliant and very rare opportunity to buy a seriously fast, race ready (or potential shelf-queen) SX with highest spec electronics.
All packaging (mint) and instruction manuals will be supplied.
Please get in touch with any serious offers.
Thanks for reading.
