Hi, Are you racing in Lucan this Sunday ?

Ian I wired the ESC and installed the motor - it seems to work but since it's a first for me I wouldn't mind you check - to be on the safe side.

Cheers

Grand - I hope to make it then - but not for racing cos I'm not at that level yet but if I can get my B44 going smoothly and learn more about driving it I'll be happy... hope this is ok

There is no required ability level for racing, we have people of all abilities from novice to advanced, the best way to hone your driving skills is to race. All that's needed is some suitable equipment and a willingness to have a go. Please feel free to come along and race your buggy, you'll soon get the hang of it and the thrill of the race will keep you coming back. I've a busy work schedule this weekend but I'll try and get out for a while on Saturday and Sunday. If I'm not there Mick B or somebody will check over your electrics install for you. There is some more advanced tuning that can be done on the GTB to make it easier to drive. Hopefully I'll see you at the weekend but, if not I'll deffo be around the next couple of weeks.

I'm gonna try to make it on Sunday - try co have a young baby so if all ok I'll be there.

But sure I wouldn't mind a few laps of your track once I know the car is sound (I know the car is but i mean my "handy" work at replacing and setting the ESC and motor to my B44).

Ian i didn't change the setup on the GTB cos I'd rather have someone to guide me to pick the right one - so hope it'll work in the meantime

Thank to you all for the help in advance .

It will work fine on the default settings, i've ran them like that before. You may find it a little aggressive though which can be tuned out.

Haven't checked the weather forecast but when there are heat waves in France and the uk, I think I probably be better bringing my boat instead lol unless the weather changes for the best.

Really hope it does cos I'd love to try the new esc and motor and my son can't wait !!!
