You didnt say what car.
Im running a 19 tooth pinion with my LRP 5.5 in my B4 with the standard spur.
Although to be honest a 5.5 is a bit much for a 2WD car and I think a 7.5 would be more suitable.

I use in some of my 4*4 cars an EZ Run 60 with a 5,5t with a gearing of 9,0 and I have altered the timing to 18,75 instead of the standard 15.
I am using this with 3200 trackpower.
It is a cheap combo but you can compare the speed to Novak GTB with a 6,5 R and until now (touch wood) I did not have any problem yet (I have 3 of them).
Make sure that the speedo gets enough cooling.
Greetz:)

For a 4*2, I would even go to a ratio of 8.5.
You will need to take of the fan of the speedo because the body is not high enough.
Two options, put the fan in front of the speedo so that cool air goes over the speedo or just take the fan off completely; but if the speedo is thermaling (too hot!) you will have to put it on again.
But in my opinion, a 5.5 for a B4 is too much, I would rather go for a 8.5.
If you have some more questions, let me know.

Setting the slipper loose will be essential.
With my LRP 5.5 (which may be slightly more powerful than the ezrun) I found that turning the throttle end point down to 90% helps to tame down the power on lower grip tracks.

EPA (end point adjustment) is on the transmitter, not the speedo.
