Worksop 2010/11 Confirmed Dates and Entry Form Will Be Released Soon

The dates for the Worksop Masters Series 2010/2011 have nearly been finalised.

We did release unconfirmed dates at the end of the previous series but the centre has forced us to change a couple.

There will be another players meeting also - Players - The Grudge-Match :lol:

There will be new carpet for the 2010/11 series and we will be trying a crossover :woot:

Look out for the dates and entry forms (which will be paper postal entry as usual) over the next couple of weeks - we anticipate high entry again (it has been the biggest race series using BBK timing in Europe for the last 3 years) so do your best to get your entry in early to avoid dissappointment.

Any comments, dislikes (and likes!!) about the series post them here and we'll do our best to address them.

That was the only poor thing i felt about the final meeting. Nightmare racing 2 classes having to stand in different places for each car, then to change again for the final was crazy. Never seen a problem with the previous system of queing up before you go on, especially as the positions are normally settled in practice.

In terms of democracy a lot more people liked it than didn't. Personally i preferred the original method of get there early..

We're still deciding, but generally it makes sense to go with what the majority prefer. I'll put a poll up.

I'd like to see us 4wd guys get to start first & finals than 2wd be nice to have change,
I did like the numbers on the rostrum as then you wasnt having to fight for the place you was in practice etc.
It maybe ok for you top guys as you always settle in your own sort of place, but the amount of moans you get in the lower heats cause ppl stand in the spot you was in before or ppl wont move up or down. So you end up in a spot where there's guy who thinks he has lightsaber in hands lol :p

Unfortunately the centre have been a total nightmare with us this year, we booked the dates originally in feb/march for Worksop 2010/2011 but they have moved them around, this has been happening even in the last few days since other clubs have released their dates. We think we may clash with one round of one large series and one with another. We apologise for this, we all want to avoid eachothers meetings but its proven very dificult this time round.
