Driver Grading

Can anybody please explain to me exactly how Your driver grading is worked out? And at which races you gain which grading etc...

there worked out from your end of year standing at regional and national level
f1 can only be gained at a national level
f2 can also be gained at nationals
f2 to f5 awarded at regionals

Would an f3 from regionals be more likely to get a national entry than an f4... Sorry if its a stupid question Carl:confused:

Thanks for that, does anybody know what overall positions you need for certain F gradings though? like top 15% overall get F2 for example. Where would i have to finish roughly to get an F3 or maybe F2 :woot:

It's all explained in your BRCA handbook.

It's calculated based on your position from your region at the end of the season.

It's quite complex as it's calculated from your standing in the results table after drivers that have gained grades from nationals have been removed.

It's almost impossible to try to calculate exactly what your grade will be ahead of time as it depends on how your regions top-lads do at nationals.

From a region top half are looking at F2/3 territory, bottom half F4/5, but that's about as close as it can be called.

I'm 24th overall at the moment in my 1st year of regionals with 1 round left to go. trying to work out who doesn't count out of 74 is a nightmare lol

I had F3 in mind when I started the season :)
