Right guys,

1: Booking in is now open for this event, either pm me here or email saundersfootmcc@live.co.uk with all the usual information name, class,pt,brca etc...

2: Entry costs will be £10 per person for 1st class entered and £5 for each additional class after that.

3: There will be NO practice on the saturday. This and the fact that we will be altering the track the weekend before will ensure a level playing field ( apart from the jumps:thumbsup:) for everyone.

4: Weather permitting we are planning to try and run a couple of times before the meeting so anyone wanting to come down for a run keep an eye on the website www.saundersfootmcc.webs.com (http://www.saundersfootmcc.webs.com)

Any questions....ask!

After the very successful way Caldicot ran the meeting for people that wanted to run two classes with the half-price second class and by trying to making sure there were no marshalling conflictions, i'd like to run both at Saundersfoot as well :)

Is there any problem with that or do we have to wait too see how many people are booked in before deciding to do one or two ?

Thankyou :)

Dyna,

We'll do all we can to ensure there are no marshalling conflicts for people running two classes. Obviously the more people entered the easier it will be to sort out but at the moment entries are very thin on the ground:(

So come on guys, lets get those entries in:thumbsup:

If your radiator is leaking you can buy radiator sealant which is a couple of quid, you can buy it in a liquid or in a solid and you just sprinkle into the radiator, or if its because of a pipe, locate the leak and pop to the scrap yard and they should have one there and cheap too. If its the head gas kit I wouldn even attempt to start the car. hope you manage to sort the problem

I notice when I was unloading that handout transponder 4 is missing, the last person to need it in the finals was Lewis Webb, has anyone got a contact detail for him or can get in touch to see if he has it before we start serching the track

Thanks
Ian

I was annoyed yesterday with the truggy final.
There were two racers who took it upon themselves to turn into me everytime I lapped them, on about 19 mins I had finally made it into 2nd place (1st was gone), and as I came up behind one of them I went to pass and he turned straight into me flipping the car over. Then he continued full throttle to drive over my car making the engine stall. Game over.
After the race I asked " where was the refereeing?" and was told " the truggy final doesn't need refereeing because it's not an important class."

Well it is important to me after travelling for 1 1/2 hrs and paying my fees.

This is comming from someone who has backed the WRCA 100% whether Nitro or Electric,.

Apart from that it was a well run day, great track and a good atmosphere,
Well done Ian and Co!

Well chuffed to make the A final in 4wd or should I say surprised!

See you all at Cobra.

I call that favoritism Dave. I will be having words with your missus about her filming only following you and Owen.... when she really should have been filming just my cars :woot:

If you cant get the vids up, speak to Balders as he's got a Youtube account with some of our Caldicot vids on - im sure he will do it for you :)

Hey Axeman, for a racing god you seem to be making a habit of B finals!

It was a fix!!!
I was cheated out of it!!
There were stray sheep on the track
I had interfearence.
I had bad wind.
I could see the back bend..
The loop didn't pick up my PT
The grass had attitude with my car
People were looking at my car in a gone off way as it passed

there my excuses and I'm sticking with them!!:p

Thanks again to everyone for the positive comments posted about the day, we'd like to thank all of you for making the effort to get up early and make the journey down and support the event, which was the first of this size any of us had organised, it makes all the hard work worth while.

Just to echo everyone else's comments, an excellent day gentlemen; great standard of driving and good marshalling. Also the organisation and track were excellent and a credit to the club.

Had real trouble with my B4 for most of the day; suppose it didn't help that I didn't have any oil in the front shocks......:p The poor little fragile X-5 got broken in the B final after a tumble with that pesky Balders. Only joking mate, it was a high speed duel down the straight.:o

Once again, an excellent day that I throughly enjoyed and I sincerely hope the Saundersfoot club get more exposure and meetings in the future.
