this is my 1st year so please excuse my silly question if it is a silly question.
I'm currently 24th overall, but which EoS finals should I enter?
If everyone who isn't counted (F1's, etc) are above me I'll move into the top 20%. but if they're not or I don't move up enough I'll stay as F3.
Plus there's still Round 5 to potentially count and move me up and down still.

Its not silly.
The EOS use your current licence grade, your new grading does not come into effect until Jan 1st.
So as you are not F1 or F2, you can enter both competitions, but may not gain an entry into the F2's - depending on who else enters with a higher licence grade than you.
Of course, if you are F5 this may also apply to the F3/4/5 Finals as well.
Enter for both and Tom will let you know ASAP whether you have an entry or not.

I thought that it was based on your position in the regional series for the current year, in effect your licence grade for the following year, otherwise people who started the season F3 for example would get priority over an F5 who has earned an F3 during the season, even if they had not competed, i'm sure tom will confirm. What is for sure is that finishing 25th you'd pretty much be guaranteed entry i would have thought cause you have to deduct F1's (and F2's) for the 3,4,5's.

He is an F5 for this year (i think) so regardless of his finishing position in this years regional series he is still classed as an F5. IF all of our Regions places for the F2 Finals are taken by current F2 drivers, then he will not gain an entry, regardless of his finishing position, unless other Regions do not take their full allocation, in which case then he may gain entry. Only time will tell.

Out of interest, how many people from the region will be going down to the F3/4/5 ? I am hoping to do 2wd and 4wd.
