View Full Version : Does any club actually race MTs anymore?

Hi!

Just wondering if there are still any clubs out there that have race meets for MTs these days?

I realise that they're regarded by most as machines that are possibly best left alone because of the handling issues, or just kept for when you fancy demoliting something... But, I'm quite into the idea of having a go at racing my tricked-up Savage against some of the other lumbering beasties out there, just for a bit of fun if nothing else!

Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers, Lawrence.

I would love to see a heat of MT's.

We seem to get one or two every so often, usually raced by younger lads with dad as pit man. They usually have a good laugh and go away smiling, only to turn up in a couple of weeks time with an 8th buggy.

Not that I'm complaining at that, but i'm sure if we could get enough all at once it would encorage the class...

In Australia that's about all anyone "races" along with nitro truggy's, scourge of the country in my opinion :)

We race them at every meet at Adur! Usually get a good half dozen, Savages, Tmaxx, MGT, Revo's, etc.
