Lrp tc spec sphere in 2wd

I am going to use a sphere tc spec in my cousins 2wd ( i have a spare one ) Can i take off the fan as i see people saying i dont need it.

What do i do with the wires ??

I have a regular sphere (i.e. non-TC variant) and don't run with a fan or heatsink. runs OK with both a 6.5 and 7.5 motor in my B4...it's never thermalled once even after 20 mins of running on a grippy astro track - YMMV.

Its only going to be run with a 10.5 or a 9.5 as hes a novice. So that will be great. what do i do with the wires just tape them up seperate ?
