Hi,the c rating is the amont the battery will discharge when you race, the bigger the c the more punch you will get,i would say the more the better if you want to race,i use LRP batterys because i cant wait for stuff,if you can you can get some very good ones off ebay i think they are YON TOW or somthing, some one will know, you will need to know how tall the lipo can be,if you get say a 2300 it will be thiner then a 5300,
hope this helps a bit
happy racing:thumbsup:

Hi Ray. For doing regionals stick pack lipos have to be on this BRCA approved list:

http://www.brca.org/BRCA/elecboard/news/2010%20BRCA%202S%20Stick%20LiPo%20List%20v2%20pdf. pdf

If they're not on there then they're not approved for regionals -although I've never had my lipos checked yet!

The only ones that I know will fit perfectly in the Cat SX2 without the need for an additional lipo retainer are the Vampire Racing VR1010 packs as they have four location humps on the underside to locate into the holes in your SX2 Chassis. There's bound to be more batteries that will do the same, but I don't know which others have locating humps on them.

As for 25c, 30c etc do a search in the electrics section -there's lots of questions on the same subject already.
