Based on a losi micro t, - a vintage looking micro RC10. Body and chassis designed by 'Tanglewood' from micro t forum. Just finished painting the body and still have the wing yet to do.

Cheers Jimmy ! High praise indeed coming from the Oberer Oople-meister ! The tires are from the Tamiya mini 4wd Jr range (from the hotshot Jr. to be exact).

Awesome! I need one.

I just finished painting a "Team Moo" RC10T body for a customer, and that scheme would be awesome on that little guy. VERY COOL!

Wow, thanks Doug ! I've been loving your stuff since the old rc10b4 dot com days. Funny you mention the Moo paint job, last night as I was prepping the body for paint that was almost top of the list to do, it was between a Cliff Lett scheme, Moo, Masami or a Kinwald style paint job. Still have a couple of bodies so I may well do a moo ! Thanks for the comment, I'm honoured !

Cheers racingdwarf ! Yeah, In my ideal world Associated would have released a micro rc10 for the anniversairy of the car, white platic parts an' all. Glad you spotted and liked the Keil and reedy decals, most of the full reedy decals are far to big to fit on the body ! The Keil decals remind me of Craig Drescher and Rory Cull in the early 90's. Was really lucky to get these decals this small from ebay germany. When was the Reedy race at Aire valley ? I remember an event on an indoors clay track (a replica of Yatabe Arena) at the Birmingham Convention Centre thingy which was supposed to replicate a Reedy race. Must have been about 91' / 92'.

Yer the indoor was the british GP at the NEC I think if I remember right:confused:(was a long time ago) they made the track out of brick clay, It was a disaster the only tyre that worked was a yokomo foam with addative, people were having them flown in! so they banned them, that had to be one of the worst tracks I ever raced at and it could have been so good,But the was just NO grip at all, it was like Ice racing! It was part of a large toyshow, quite high profile.
And I think newkids on the block were playing in the hall next door, so when we walked out there were thousands of screaming girls:thumbsup:.

Aire valley looked like this. is prob one of the best dirt tracks I ever have raced on,it was the reedy race Mike reedy was there rebuilt a motor for me and signed my trophy,he was great!
Not sure on the year,I used a bosscat and my pink tub stelth rc10:bored:. I think the bosscat only came out that year.

Wow, you raced at that British GP ??!! Certainly a long long time ago ! Funny to hear about it from a racers POV, I was just there watching. I remember the tire controversy, and you reminded me of that whole event (including new kids on the block, -LOL !!) Unless I imagined it, - wasn't Brian Kinwald there racing ?. I remeber a couple of cars that were previwed there, but never made it to production - the Wasp fury (almost fully alloy cat) and a car from Tanaplan that was like a Yokomo drivetrain and chassis with Cat-like steering set up. Wow, - major flashback ! That event got me even more obsessed with RC. Thanks for the pic of the Aire valley track, - never went to that track but I do remember race reports from there, looks great ! LOL, getting off topic on my own thread ! But great to hear your input. If you remember any more or find any info / pics from the British GP, please please let me know !

I'm actually a member there, allthough my membership ran out a long time ago i guess. It's def. THE best vintage site out there (along with Tamiya club), I'm usually checking it each day. Just remembered that I know your cars from there too. I would like to post the pics of my micro RC10 on there, - could you post a link to these pics on rc10talk or something please Doug ? I must remember to get my account renewed there soon.

Oh that's ace racingdwarf !! Screw my thread, your info and pics are worth far more !! Loving the pit photo, that bosscat was hot. Did you have to limit the steering ? Bosscats and Cats could turn on a pin. Your rc10 looked hot too, it was an exciting era back then ! Must do a Kinwald paintjob on one of the bodies I got left over. Did you race around the country a lot ?

Racingdwarf, - Looking at your pit pic reminded me - polybutler pit boxes !! Do people still use them now ? I remember they were a must have, allthough at 50 quid (back then !) my dad was having none of it, LOL !

Sure did, me and my mum were out just about every weekend regionals, south of watford league or nationals, then the british GP etc. I think I limited my end points on my trusty KO back then. the car sat in the loft for years, I only pulled it out this winter and rebuilt it, the steering lock is mind blowing:lol: It can just about turn in it's own length, It's still a great car to drive, this is it a couple of months ago on my bench just after the rebuild, I have also found the original LRP speedo I ran in it, once I get that back in it's close to how it was back then

Yep pollybutlers rule, still have the one in the photos, compleat with all the stikers but it's a bit long in the tooth now so I have a new one.belive it or not, if you know the right people you can still get them for 50quid;)
