As the indoor series starting september time, just wondering what changes there will be for the winter championship.

I suggest 8.5 motor limit and any tyres in short course :p.

you have your wish,4wd and 2wd is not a problem aslong as the point are seperated into 2 and 2,any motor isnt a problem as you dont want to much speed, and any sct tyre, its a shame about the tyres as i think it should be stock and thats it,its now going to be who can afford the softs tyres every week:thumbdown:

the thing with the tyres is that you cant say stick to stock or what came with car as the std sc10 uses one type and the sc10 FT uses Jconcepts, then Hpi uses Maxxis etc etc :confused::confused::wtf::wtf::wtf:

so it was just easier to say any SCT tire the other thing would be to say only std SC10 kits allowed but that would be crap too :p:p:p:p:lol::lol:

just my 2 cents

Not seen the newsletter, was out so did the post on my phone haha.

Control tyre might be a good idea in the future if the class is well supported, I know fastrax has a new mini pin or mini spike tyre for short course.

With tyres you are never going to please everyone, club night rules should be relaxed cos if someone turns up without knowing about the rules, are we supposed to just turn them away?

To the funny farm?

I agree with ginge, as long as they're round and made of rubber then should be fine. I mean after all, it is toy cars we are racing :)

I also think we should award points for the best drift in an sc10. I might win summit then instead of being Brownies bridesmaid all the time :(

Will there be a SC class indoors this winter then? Seems most people have been bitten by the bug. I even heard Martin talking about getting one. Don't know how it'll go with a 3.5 in it though .

New rule for short course trucks, a Suitable oil pan needs to be fitted underneath the gearbox to stop oil from the geared diffs leaking on the new carpet. This goes for Durmangos to.

The sc10's dont have oil in the diffs anyroad, its a thick black grease, the same as you use in the diff thrust races.

Indoors I think there should be a control ture and should be the associated sc10 one. Theu worked well last year and did not wear bad so costs were down.

Yes for those who don't own a associated but with a free for all on any tyre you going to have to buy at least one set in the hope they work then a another make when some one goes faster on what u ain't got. And If the wear rate is poor .......
