Im looking at getting a new electric buggie chassis and shell set up so I can add my own radio/esc and motor, so far I like the new Schumacher Cat SX2, any advice would be appreciated, I am looking at starting racing with it, at the mo I have a stadium truck blinged up which would be fine for racing, but want a buggie too, I prefer off road for many reasons.

Parts must be common
Strong and durable
Able to take brushless systems
Able to adjust for different track specs

Nathan, all competition buggies are strong and durable, able to take brushless systems and adjustable for different track specs.

As far as parts availabilty, that depends on how you define it. If you want a car that your local hobbyshop stocks parts for, you need to see them and ask. If you mean a car that shops in the country stock parts for or are you OK with using the Internet to order from Asia?

As you mention racing, I assume you live reasonably nearby a track. Why not go there and see what they race? If they all race the same car, that is your car as they then can help you with advice on suitable settings. If you see all kinds of cars (most likely) have them explain the pros and cons of what the use. Double check with us here and then decide. Chances are that you may even find a good used car at a local track.
