Im about to order the Alloy Block Suspension Set - U3517 as the 'plastic' ones snapped on me over the weekend.
Any other parts on the car that you would recommend I buy - the alloy versions of - instead of the plastic kit parts?
Thanks

If you want to bulletproof it - alloy steering and if you don't have Stegger's front brace then also replace front bits with alloy. I did couple of races and it stayed together with Stegger's brace without need of replacing.
I broke one side of plastic steering in 4 races. Seems to be quite strong, considering some bad landings on front wheels.

Do you mean the " U3308 SCHUMACHER CAT SX CNC ALLOY RADIUS ARM - LH " and the Right side too?
Thanks.

or you have to buy it bit by bit,
then you need radius arms and http://www.racing-cars.com/pp/New_Cars_and_Parts/Cat_SX2/U3446.html
and of course 2 short m3 screws and some nuts.

you should be fine with std steering, just be sure you've got replacement

Mark at Schumacher told me today the alloy steering conversion is expected into stock within the next few days.
I have both the Cat SX and SX2 and given the same bit of rope to stumble into the earlier car certainly comes out of it in better condition; so for average Joe like myself I would say these are a must.
