After asking alot of set up advice and finding what bits I need to get, it got me thinking about the front link kit.

First of all at £19.99 its pretty steep, and as apparently the kit item is FUBAR, I pretty much need the upgrade to perform.

Now I was looking at other changes I could make, to get the same effect.. sorry if the information i've got is wrong, i'd appreciate being put correct if I am!

This is the idea I had:

Now I know some prefer to go longer on the centre camber link settings ( 50-55 is it?) but can moving to the inside outer camber link effectively have a shorter link?
What would be the adverse effect of moving from the outer hole to the inner one?

From what i've gathered people are trying to shorten the front link, which by the book does:

LESS roll.
GIVES initial steering.

I've also seen some adding 2-4 washers on the centre link, which again by the book does:

ADDS roll.
LESS high speed steering.

From what i've found some of the settings being used contradict whats trying to be acheived.

It seems the biggest thing to do is to numb some of the steering the car gives. From the set ups i've seen from all ranges of drivers they all seem to be around the same base line.

See here for a rough idea..

One of the things i'll be doing is getting the 5deg castor blocks, but why not run the front wishbone shock setting on the outside? This would help by reducing droop and give extra stability, a slight sacrifice on bump handeling, but surely the big bores do more than enough to overcome this?

I've had a couple hours free before i'm due at work to fiddle, appologies if what i've said is wrong, but id be interested to see what people think on this and input is definately appreciated.
