The second day of the 2010 European Championships in Traiskirchen, Austria was a complete washout. Rain started around 4am and was on&off for the morning and early afternoon, making the track unsafe for marshalling and too bad for the cars to race.

Still - we got some reporting of the fun and interesting things in the pitting area as time limits came and went for racing to resume. Eventually the meeting was cancelled around 17:10 after racers had waited all day to get their tyres dirty.
Without a single car on the track and no qualifying rounds completed the final day of the 2WD event will feature just 3 rounds of qualifying with two to count (instead of 5, with 2 to count) and finals.

hope its not the same tomorrow or the whole 2wd euros could be a non event you would have thought that having been forced to bin 4wd warm up earlier in the year that they would have put plans in place incase the same thing happened again and crossing your fingers for good weather dont count lol

lets hope for good weather refreshing its not just us in the uk that suffer with the weather spoiling our racing lol

Jimmy may have spelt yours and Dave's last name wrong (not good) but at least the picture shows the usual from Dave at events. I wish i still raced as i do miss the great night outs with Dave before a big event.

I bet there's some well steamed guys at the moment, they probably started drinking 12 hrs ago!! Can't wait to get there as long as the weather improves, if it doesn't might just stay where I am in Munchen in the Hoffbrauhaus!
