Hi all.
Well as you can see ledbury are in the process of a major overhaul.
We spent most of last year profile the track and trying to set out a track that would appeal to the most competetive of drivers but would not be too dounting the new comers to the club.

Up to know we have been on the look out for some astoturf and also our own tining gear.

Well i'm please to announce that a month ago we purchased approximately 1100 to 1200 sqr meter of top knotch astro to cover a section of the track so we can run full astro in the winter.
We are also looking set the track up so that we can also run 1/10 scale electrics on it with a mixture of track surface's.

I am also please to announce that the club have just had delivery of a complete AMB system.

We know have set goals for the future of Ledbury.

Set a track out to make make the best driver swet, but also make it changable for the new comers to enjoy.

Things on the pipieline.
We are know looking to increase our toilet facilities, clean drinkiing water and also storage, ( container).
We are also on te lookout for a club house for racers to take a break, have a drink and also something to eat.

As you all know thing do take time, effort and most importantly funds, but we will get there.

Jamie

Sounds great guys, really impressed with the way you are progressing with the 1/10th section when your core membership isn't 1/10th based!

I am looking forward to having such a good facility locally (approx 30mins closer than any other track for me) and if you get it down in time I'll be using the astro track when I can over the winter for sure.

Can please confrim that the AMB system you have got is the one that supports PTs? Sure it is but thought it best to ask than assume.

Also I know quite a few people, myself included, think the best thing about your venue is the grass surface so please don't fully carpet the play ground :D

Any winter meeting dates yet by the way?

Hi there.
At the moment we are looking to astro the 1/8th track BUT with a view of being able to set it up to rub 1/10 scale electrics.
Not all of the track will be covered though.

The separate 1/10 track will remain as it is for know, fully grass.

Yes the amb will support pt, no worries ther.

As far as 1/10 meeting's are concerned, we have had some dates set in he past , The last regional we run seemed to go very well and everyone was happy.
But previously numbers have been very low even with promoting the dates on the main forums, here and else whare.

I am a member and race at leominster at HRCC meeting's and have said about meeting being held in ledbury in the past but no one has turned up.
We even offered to put on a short track for the sc10 with no joy.:eh?:

I hope this helps.

Nathan is the man to talk to regarding upcoming electric date tbh.

Jamie.

Great work guys keep it up,

like roger said keep the 10th track mainly grass with maybe a couple of astro sections, and if you did any winter electric meets i can think of a few that would come down, you just need the weather to be kinder to you

Hi Guys

Thanks for the comments.
We usually run on a wednesday night but its generally just a mess about with people testing cars and track maintenance going on.

But a few of us are there so thats best time to come down
and Ray Powney (DAD) is currently doing some repairs to the grass electric track ready for next season.

We are planning to keep abit of astro spare from the large track to do a couple of astro features on the grass electric track to maintain the tricky areas.

But i will soon be putting a winter dates list together now that the MAM midwest dates have been set.
