Hi guys,

I'm planning to build a DEX410R. What ESC are you guys using? I looked through some of the forum, and some guys are using TEKIN RS Pro, but I heard that there are some issues with that ESC, particularly guys with Spektrum losing control of their cars. Some guys are using LRP, and there are issues with that too.

Thanks!

Speed Passion GTPRO2.0 in mine, fits ok, just needs a little thought.

No problems with the speedo either, lovely thing.

I think you will find that those issues were indeed caused by the spektrum units themselves, no probs running the Tekins generally, :D they are great speedo's

Tekin all the way, especially if you're not running a micro receiver or spectrum.

If you try and cram everything in and you are running 40mhz you'll have interference issues.

The Tekin is nice and small so it allows you to fit a larger receiver like me.:thumbdown:

As far as im concerned spektrum doesnt have the best rep as a receiver, limited to tekin as a small speedo or s.p., it really depends on the combo as far as speedo and reciever as far configuration.

I've used a Tekin/Spektrum combination for 3 years and never had problems. That includes using the old DSM1 receivers and the newer DSM2.
